Protec Contractors Fireproofing

What is Fireproofing?

Passive fireproofing/firestopping contains or slows the spread of fire, protecting lives, assets and the structure of the building itself. It fills holes left by the installation of electrical and plumbing components, using high-tech, spray-applied materials to maintain the integrity of firewalls with cables, pipes, wiring or joists. Fireproofing can be done at the building phase, during renovation or as part of a retrofit.

Protec Contractors is a member of the National Fireproofing Contractors Association. Our team has vast installation expertise and materials education, and delivers on all aspects of fireproofing, including system selection, procurement, installation, coordination with trades, digitial process controls, and more. Protec Contractors installers have a 100% pass rate: their work has never failed an inspection.

Protec Contractors installs Cementitious and Intumescent fireproofing. Cementitious fireproofing is a non-combustible, cement-based protection product. Intumescent fireproofing is applied as a protective paint, this product expands into a foam when heated. Industrial grade products are available.
